Thank you for visiting us!
Named after the initials of Tyler (founder, owner, and rod builder), we are a small business owned and operated by first responders located in Northwest Wisconsin. We operate out of our home and have commandeered a large area for the rod building workshop with the tools and supplies needed to build rods.
Tyler is the founder/owner/rod builder that started to fix his own fishing rods (he is very hard on them as an avid kayak fisherman). This quickly blossomed into a busy rod building adventure that was done under his kayak fishing business, Small Craft Outfitters. Due to popularity, Tyler spun off the rod building side of the business into TNT Fishing Rods. He has found rod building to be a relaxing creative experience.
Stacy is Tyler's wife and she has a background in graphic design so she provides feedback on our wrap designs, color selections, etc. She also does a final quality control check on the rods because Tyler is his own worst critic. Stacy confirms quality of the work on the rods for him to keep him sane. She also uses her amateur photography skills to take the official lightbox photos of the finished products.
Tyler and Stacy's daughter, Haylee, may still be school age but she also has a creative mind and provides input when it comes to colors and designs. Especially the fun, slightly wild, builds. She also enjoys doing a few turns on the wrapper time-to-time when working on her own rods.
Jackson, Tyler and Stacy's young son mostly plays with his trucks and tractors in the workshop area. This helps with Tyler's agility because they are often right under his feet.
